Hello, my name is Gretchen and I am 64 years young. Though some would say 64 is OLD, I prefer to think of myself as middle aged. Even when I am 74 or even 84, I will always think of myself as middle aged. I refuse to be old!
I was born and raised in Michigan and still live there today. I have been married to my husband Bill for 18 wonderful years. I have 2 beautiful daughters who are grown and off with families of their own. They have given me 3 grandsons whom I love dearly. They really are awesome boys! I have been retired for 9 years and am loving every minute of it!
This blog will be my sounding board as I post my thoughts on the good and the bad, or maybe the not so bad of being 64. There will be ranting! And also raving! Reaching middle age is not for the faint of heart, but I feel pretty darn good.
